How to Remove Nero BackItUp 12 Essentials OEM.a0?

I have a new computer with a lot of bloatware installed that I'm trying to purge. Here’s one rather large program that won't go away. In the "Add or Remove programs" dialog, it's called Nero BackItUp 12 Essentials OEM.a01. It's 189MB.

When I try to uninstall it, it either fails, or uninstalls then reappears in the list shortly after. Has anyone run across this tool, and do you know how to successfully get rid of it?
